Description: Race into Space is the free software version of Interplay's Buzz Aldrin's Race into Space. This is the reworked version following the source release for the computer version of the Liftoff! board game by Fritz Bronner. This was developed by Strategic Visions and published by Interplay in as a disk based game in 1992 and a cd-rom in 1994.

Hmm, looks intresting but i hane dialup so a 54 MB would kill me
Bump. I'm interested in this, but now the version number's at 0.4.7. I can use a custom launcher to tell the game to run and save locally, but it still places a config file in .raceintospace in the active profile directory, which is a tiny annoyance that kills off portability. If I could wipe out that cute little tendency, the game would be portable on its own. Little help?
